Getting Started

Our residential solar systems currently start at around ₱200,000 for a 3 kW system and can reach around ₱850,000 for a 12 kW system, depending on the system type and equipment selected.

Our package pricing includes installation, labour, transportation, safety equipment, and installation materials. Net metering fees and related utility charges are not included.

The right system for you depends on your electricity consumption, roof, and what you want solar to achieve.

No. That's what the assessment is for.

We look at your electricity consumption, roof type, available space, and whether your property is suitable for solar. From there, we'll recommend a system based on your actual needs rather than simply selling you the biggest system possible.

Yes. Our initial assessment is completely free and comes with no obligation.

We'll review your electricity consumption and bills, assess your roof and available space, and determine whether solar is a suitable investment for your property.

Once you decide to proceed, our technical team can then carry out the more detailed site and system planning needed for installation.

It depends on the size and complexity of the system.

Smaller residential systems can usually be installed in around 2–3 days, while larger systems may take around 3–5 days.

We'll give you a more accurate timeline once your system has been assessed and approved.

Savings & Investment

Your savings depend on how much electricity your system produces and how much of that energy your household actually uses.

As a simple example, a properly sized 5 kW system in Davao may generate roughly 550–650 kWh of electricity per month, depending on weather, roof orientation, shading, and system performance.

At an electricity rate of around ₱13/kWh, that's approximately ₱7,150–₱8,450 worth of electricity per month if the generated energy offsets your consumption.

Your actual savings will depend on your household's usage, which is why we use your electricity bills when preparing a proposal.

There's no single payback period because it depends on the system price, your electricity consumption, and how much of the solar energy you use.

For example, if a ₱400,000 system helps you save an average of ₱7,000 per month, the simple payback is around 4.8 years.

A larger system can also make sense for a high-consumption household if more of the solar energy is used during the day.

We'll show you the estimated savings and payback period in your proposal so you can see whether the investment makes sense for you.

It depends.

Solar generally makes more financial sense when your electricity consumption is high enough to use a significant portion of the energy your system produces.

If your electricity bill is already low, installing a large system may not be the best investment. We'll help you determine an appropriate system size based on your actual consumption.

Usually, yes.

Solar can significantly reduce the amount of electricity you need to purchase from the grid, but it doesn't necessarily eliminate your electricity bill.

Your remaining bill depends on how much electricity you consume, how much your solar system produces, and whether your system includes battery storage or is connected to the grid.

Yes. We offer flexible payment options that we can discuss when we present your proposal.

We'll walk you through the available options so you can choose a payment arrangement that works for your budget.

Choosing the Right System

It depends on what you want your solar system to do.

On-grid systems work with your existing electricity connection and are designed primarily to reduce your electricity bill.

Hybrid systems combine solar, the grid, and battery storage. They can reduce your electricity bill while also providing backup power during outages.

Off-grid systems operate independently from the electricity grid and rely on solar and battery storage to supply your property.

Each has its advantages, and we'll recommend the option that best fits your electricity usage, budget, and backup-power needs.

It depends on the type of system you have.

A standard on-grid system will normally shut down during a power outage for safety reasons. It cannot simply continue supplying your home while the grid is down.

If backup power during brownouts is important to you, a hybrid system with sufficient battery capacity may be a better option.

The important part is sizing the system and battery correctly for what you actually want to run during an outage. A battery that is too small may only support essential appliances for a limited time.

It can, but the answer depends on the size of your solar system, your air-conditioner's power consumption, and how many other appliances are running at the same time.

If running air-conditioning is a priority, we'll factor your actual consumption into the system recommendation rather than assuming every system can handle the same load.

Not necessarily.

If your main goal is to reduce your electricity bill, an on-grid system may be enough.

If you also want backup power during brownouts, batteries become an important part of the system.

We'll help you determine whether batteries make financial and practical sense for your household.

Installation & Aftercare

We can work with a variety of common roof types, including metal, concrete, tile, and other suitable structures.

The mounting method depends on your roof and property, which is why we assess the site before finalising your system.

Once you approve your project, our technical team moves into the detailed planning stage.

This includes confirming the system design, equipment, installation requirements, and other technical details needed to prepare your project for installation.

We'll keep you informed throughout the process so you know what happens next.

Our relationship doesn't end when we finish the installation.

Your system comes with 3 months of free check-ins and maintenance, and customers receive 10% off maintenance services during their first year.

We want to make sure your system continues to perform properly long after installation.

Yes. We provide maintenance and system check-up services to help keep your solar system operating properly.

For Solect customers, the first 3 months of check-ins and maintenance are free, followed by a 10% maintenance discount during the first year.
